About KB Carpentry
KB Carpentry is an exterior renovations company serving the South Shore and Cape Cod. Like many building companies in the region, our business has grown exponentially in recent years. Yet, rather than greatly expand KB Carpentry – in size or range of services – we have opted to keep our focus where it has always been: on exterior home remodeling. Specializing in areas such as window and siding replacement, roofing, deck installation, and exterior door replacement allows us to provide the highest-level expertise in these areas to our clients.
Because KB Carpentry is fairly small, we are able to build long-lasting relationships with our customers, who are ensured of a personalized approach to their projects.
Meet Our Team
KB Carpentry is owned and operated by Ken Braun. Ken was born and raised in Plymouth. After college, he spent time moving around the country, pursuing his passion for snowboarding while earning a living as a builder. He returned to Plymouth in 2012 and worked for a respected local builder for several years. With more than a decade of experience now under his tool belt, Ken founded KB Carpentry in 2019.
Ken’s brother Kevin acts as Office Manager, and brings a wealth of expertise to KB Carpentry. Kevin works remotely, living in Queens, NY where he owns and operates Claret Wine Bar. Kevin manages key aspects of the business, including bookkeeping, scheduling, payroll, HR, budgeting, administrative systems, and financial analysis for strategic growth. Outside of work, Kevin enjoys snowboarding, golfing, sports, and poker, and stays connected to his roots through frequent visits to the South Shore.
Since starting KB Carpentry, KB Carpentry has hired several employees and developed beneficial relationships with skilled subcontractors throughout the region, which allows us to finish projects large and small in a timely manner.
